1. Clean & Prepare
LSM carry out an initial roof inspection and free quote on all roof restorations. Safety is important to us, adherence to protocols and essential safety measures are always taken to ensure the wellbeing of both our employers and building occupiers.
After our trained professionals are safely set-up, they will conduct a high-pressure roof clean, removing moss, lichen and other debris. Gutters, external walls and outdoor paths are also washed to remove any excess roof grime.
2. Repair & Prime
Roof repairs such as replacing missing or corroded screws and damaged or cracked tiles, removing rusted iron sheeting and repointing ridge caps are carried out.
Eco-tech Zinc primer is then applied to iron roofs. Alternatively, a high build primer is applied to decramastic or concrete tiles. The primers filling properties prevent tiles from becoming cracked or porus increasing the lifespan of your roof. The primer also creates a highly adhesive surface for paint to last.
3. Paint & Protect
Roof restorations are finished with two coats of earth safe, premium Eco Tech roof paint in the colour of your choice. By using high quality paint we can ensure excellent colour retention that will withstand New Zealand weather conditions.
Additionally, the low VOC formulation of the paint makes it suitable for application to roofs that catch drinking water. Lastly, a final inspection is then carried out and LSM provides a five year workmanship guarantee on all restorations.
